French envoy arrives in Baghdad

Secretary General of the French Foreign Ministry arrived in Baghdad on Wednesday carrying a message from French President Jacques Chirac to Iraqi officials.

The French envoy, leading a four-member delegation, refrained from disclosing the content of the message. The French envoy's visit comes following the release of a UN Security Council resolution which unanimously approved the accord concerning inspection of the Iraqi presidential palaces.
