Iraq will commit to accord's spirit and content, Iraqi FM says

Iraqi Foreign Minister Muhammad Saeed al-Sahaf on Tuesday said Iraq will commit itself to the accord signed with the UN. In a statement to the BBC al-Sahaf refused US and British warnings concerning the decision taken by the UN Security Council over the implementation of UN resolutions on Iraq. He said Iraq knows that implementing the Baghdad accord will lead to the prompt removal of UN sanctions.
