Moroccan parties refuse to participate in government
The Organization of Democratic Work announced that it will not participate in the Moroccan government being formed by newly-appointed Prime Minister Adbel Rahman El-Youssefi, but a statement by the party's central committee renewed the organization's readiness to support the next government.
Within all these events, debates arose about ministerial appointments. Mohammed Bu Setta, the ex-head of the Independence Party, said the Independence Party did not present any response to the call to participate in the government. He also said his party's emphasis was not on the subject of the government's formation, but on the political map resulting from the recent elections.
