Iraqi opposition expects renewal of crisis
Iraqi opposition representatives in Damascus agreed that the crisis over inspecting "presidential" sites in Iraq is not yet over, despite Iraq's signed argeement with the United Nations.
Mr. Bayan Gaber, the representative of the high council of the Islamic revolution in Iraq, with the chairmanship of Mr. Mohammed Bakr Al-Hakim, said Iraqi President Saddam Hussein will repeat his foolishness during the implementation of the agreement and give Washington an excuse to strike at Iraq.
The representative of the Kurdish Democratic Party, Zarkar Maei, said the existence of the military buildup means the problem is not yet over, and Sadam's agreement to allow inspections of his palaces will not put an end to the crisis.
He added, "Washington will search for new problems that will lead to strikes at Iraq."
