Israeli-Palestinian clashes

Originally published

A Palestinian was injured in clashes between demonstrating Palestinians with Israeli occupation forces near Khan Younis.

Israeli forces used rubber bullets to disperse the demonstrators who protested against the removal of soil from their lands in preparation for the confiscation of those lands by the Israeli authorities. Israeli forces sent bulldozers to start work in order to set up a quarry in the Palestinian lands.

Hundreds of demonstrators participated in a strike at Al Shohada crossroads near Netrazim settlement south of Gaza to express their refusal of settlements on Palestinian lands. The Israeli forces strengthened their presence at the strike site in order to prevent the demonstrations from turning into clashes.

The demonstrators sought to send a message to the US administration to pressure Israel to stop building settlements and to stop the confiscation process.
