An international symposium for investment in Yemen

An international symposium for promoting investment in Yemen will be held in Geneva on February 4.

The symposium will be held in cooperation with the Arab-Swiss chamber and Yemeni Minister of Industry Ahmed Mohamed Sufyan. The investment corporation's chairman will head the Yemeni delegation comprising 14 businessmen and officials from governmental bodies.

An official source said the symposium is to shed light upon many issues, such as political and economic variables in Yemen, the opportunities available for investment and the facilities provided by investment law.

The Yemeni government is dedicating efforts to make the symposium succeed and to attract European capital for the establishment in agricultural, industrial, service and tourist sectors.
