Arab Journalists ask European union to backup Garoudy

The general trusteeship of the Arab Journalists Union called on all writers' unions to get in touch with similar French and European unions to help Roger Garaudy the "international intellectual philosopher" to support freedom of expression.

The general trusteeship condemned the trial, as Garaudy is almost 90 years old, and said that the charges are invalid and that his punishment is for committing nothing but telling the truth.

Garaudy started in the 1980s to document and write about the subject of the falsehood of the Zoinist claims, Israel's aggression and violation of Moslem and Arab rights.
