Rafsanjani to visit Saudi Arabia in February

Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the former Iranian president, will pay an official visit to Saudi Arabia in February, accompanied by a high-level delegation including current ministers, according to an invitation he received from Crown Prince Abdallah bin Abdel Aziz.

Tehran is trying to show its good intentions toward the Gulf countries, and looks forward to enhancing Iranian - Gulf relationships.

This will be the second meeting between Prince Abdallah and Rafsanjani.
