Sanaa denies kidnapping German ambassador's daughter

An official source in the Yemeni Ministry of Interior challenged reports that the German ambassador's daughter in Yemen had been kidnapped, confirming that this news was not conveyed by any official source.

He asked the mass media to make sure it is accurate in its news reporting.

Yemen's El-Ayam newspaper reported that the daughter was exposed last Wednesday during a visit with her mother in Hadramount governorate, to an accident in which an unknown car intercepted her car on the road between "Sheban" and "Sion."

The ambassador was not with her daughter in the car.
