Egypt in Barcelona Expo 98

Egypt will participate in the International Expo '98 exhibition in Barcelona on May 22 - September 30.

The fair, in which 95 countries will participate, is a chance for Egyptian firms to promote their products and market the national investment ventures in the southern valley, Sinai.

The exhibition's management has allowed Egypt to set up food stands to offer typical Egyptian dishes to visitors, said the chairman of exhibitions and the International Fairs Authority, Mohammad Salah.

The exhibition's manager also agreed to designate a special corner for selling Egyptian handicrafts, leather and cotton products, and carpets.
