Jordanian opposition calls for boycotting maneuvers
Jordanian opposition parties on Thursday called upon the Jordanian government not to join Turkish -Israeli-US maneuvers which will start on January 5 in the Mediterranean, describing them as targeting Arab national security.
In a statement to the Jordanian daily Arab Today, the assistant secretary of the Baath progressive party in Jordan, Fuad Dabbour, who is also chairman of the higher coordination committee for Jordanian opposition parties urged Jordan not to take part in the maneuvers which "serve only the Israeli-Turkish alliance directed against the Arab nation," SANA reported.
