Turkish incursion into North Iraq condemned by Arab League

In a statement released on Sunday, the Arab League renewed its strong condemnation of the continued Turkish incursion into northern Iraq, underlining that these practices harm Turkish-Arab relations.

AL Assistant Secretary General Ahmad Bin Hali said the AL decisively rejects Turkey's solving an internal problem by invading the lands of an AL member state. He added that the Turkish incursion is a flagrant violation of Iraq's sovereignty, international law.

He called upon Turkey to implement an immediate and unconditional withdrawal from Iraq's territories.
