Tunisian Constitutional Party to hold fourth conference next July

Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali said that political parties' conferences are very important events in Tunisia's history, stating that the next conference is of a special importance because it coincides with the beginning of a new decade.

He said, "The Constitutional Assembly Party is the national liberation party, it is the present and future one."

He cited women's participation in the constitutional organizations, which has risen from 6% to16%.
