French prime minister to visit Morocco tomorrow
Moroccan sources announced that French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin's visit to Morocco will begin Wednesday.
It is the first official visit paid by the French prime minister to Morocco since the socialists assumed power in the most recent French election. Jospin will hold meetings with King Hassan II and his counterpart Dr. Abdellatif Filali.
The sources said that talks will include developments in north Africa, the referendum plan within Algeria and Libya, in addition to the difficult peace process in Middle East and situation in the Gulf.
The sources expected the talks will focus on commercial and economic relations, especially concerning implementing a French plan to convert Morccan debts into French internal investments.
