Land for peace formula stressed by UAE

The United Arab Emirates has stressed the necessity to resume the Middle East peace process and to establish a just and comprehensive peace based on "land for peace principle."

The UAE news agency said on the eve of President Jacques Chirac's visit to Abu Dhabi today that sides concerned must commit themselves to international legitimacy resolutions to enable the Palestinian people to restore their legitimate rights and establish their own independent state, end Israeli stubbornness, and halt the Israeli settlement policy and the Judaization of Jerusalem.
