Carthage Park Investment project in Tunisia

Originally published

The Tunisian government will implement the largest Arab investment project in Tunisia, the Motanaza Carthage (Carthage Park), after the architectural design is finished.

Carthage Park City is 23 hectares and is expected to house three thousand residents in 220 deluxe apartments and 29 villas. The commercial center will include the market of Carthage, shops, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and a bank branch. It also includes a tourist complex which comprises a 5 star hotel, 136 rented flats, an entertainment center with facilities for bowling, tennis, squash, and massages.

The director of the Carthage Park Company, Fahd Al Adl, said that the general assembly of the company met recently in Tunis and decided to increase the capital of the company from $20 million to $40 million in order to complete the facilities, which will be set up in the Kamart district north of Tunis. The original design was modified, which necessitated an increase in the project's capital from 85 million dinars to 124 million dinars ($110 million).
