A delegation representing the Egyptian Tour Guide Society visited the embassies of Britain, Bulgaria, Colombia, Germany, Japan, and Switzerland to offer condolences on the victims of the terrorist attack in Luxor on November 17.

Terrorists massacred 62 people, including 58 foreigners, inside the Hatshepsut temple in the worst such attack in Egypt's history.

The society's delegation said that attack "did not represent the nature of the Egyptian people to whom tourism is a key income-earner," Al Osboa weekly said today December 3.
