Judicial solidarity between Syria and Egypt

Farouk Sief Nasr, the Egyptian minister of justice, held talks yesterday with his counterpart on possible judicial cooperation between Egypt and Syria.

Sief Nasr said that Syrian Minister of Justice Hussein Hassun has agreed in principle to seal a judicial cooperation agreement, whereby the two counties will work jointly to facilitate criminal and civil procedures and encourage the exchange of expertise.

The two states will hold training courses for judges. Experts from both countries will thoroughly study the agreement's articles before final endorsement, Al Ahram daily said today.
