Iran's Kharazi voices support for Syria, warns Israel
Iran's foreign minister, Kamal Kharazi, has expressed his appreciation for Syria's stances against the Israeli policies.
In a statement to the Lebanese Al Bilad magazine, the Iranian minister expressed confidence in Syria's capability to deter any possible Israeli aggression. The Iranian minister asserted that Syrian - Iranian relations are at their best, noting the continuous bilateral cooperation between the two sides. He stressed Iran's support of the Lebanese national resistance as long as Israel perpetuates its aggressions on south Lebanon.
He called upon Israel to think fully before launching an aggression against Iran, adding that Iran is able to provide a proper answer to such an Israeli attack.
Moreover, Minister Kharazi called upon the Islamic states to unify their ranks in all fields, adding that the next Islamic Summit -- which will be held in Teheran in December, in the presence of all Arab and Islamic countries -- will be the summit of solidarity, settling disputes and reacting to hostile attempts to undermine the solidarity of the Islamic countries.
