Sheikh Zayed: Our weakness is our main problem

Originally published

The president of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan, called on Arab leaders to shoulder their responsibilities of treating the disjoining of the Arab body and to decrease the differences.

He added that Arab leaders should agree if they want their nation to be dignified and honored and if they want to protect the future and stability of the Arab peoples.

Sheikh Zayed stated that the external challenges play a great role in determining the future of the Arab nation, adding that Israeli policy is the result of its feelings that the Arab nation is a nation to be sneezed at.

He added that the US pressures on the Arabs are the result of the absence of the unified Arab stance, stressing that the joint work will enable the Arab nation to face all challenges. If the Arab countries consolidate, Israel will not covet Arab rights and sacred places.

He said that cooperation with Israel depends on the extent of its readiness to return those rights to the Arabs. He added that the Israeli stances and the MENA Conference are inseparable. He also called on Arab countries to solve differences through the Arab League.
