Palestine to strengthen electricity network

Sources in the Palestinian Ministry of Housing said that the World Bank and European Investment Bank together with the Italian and Norwegian governments have expressed their readiness to finance two projects to strengthen and develop the electricity network in Palestine.

The Minister of Housing who is also the head of the Palestinian Energy Authority, Dr. Abdel Rahman Hamad, said that the implementation of the two projects, whose cost is $110 million, will start during the first quarter of the upcoming year.
