Water crisis in Khartoum

It became familiar to see children and woman carrying utensils in search of water in Khartoum.

Young people stay awake for the whole night in order to fill their utensils. Meanwhile, the Water Authority issued a new tariff for water ,under which the fees have been increased 40% for the third category, 125% for the second and 325% for the first category. The commercial and industrial category has been increased by 60%, Al Khartoum daily said today.
