Government forces crack down on terrorists

The Algerian Military Command decided to expand the area which is surrounded by government forces to include the Arbaa Mountains, Baba Ali, Al Calinous, in addition to the area of Sidi Moussa, which is already surrounded.

A government official mentioned that the army forces managed to reach some caves that were equipped with advanced weaponry. The forces found 7 factories for manufacturing bombs with electric generators and also found imported chemical materials. 35 leading terrorists were killed in the attack.

The operation of removing mines from the area of Sidi Moussa resulted in the death of 14 and the injury of 6 members of the armed forces. The operation aimed to close the roads through which the terrorists infiltrated.

Hussein Zekry, 26, one of the members of the terrorist groups who was arrested recently confessed to having participated in his first terrorist attack against military barracks of 200 officers, and that the attack was carried out with the help of one of the barracks' guards.
