Iraqis arrested for illegally entering Kuwait

Five Iraqis have been arrested by Kuwaiti security forces for having illegally crossed the border looking for work in Kuwait, the daily Al-Watan reported.

The arrested Iraqis explained that they had come with the intention of working in Kuwait. They said they were ready to take any job because there was no work in Iraq, and life had become so unbearable there.

The Iraqis were arrested during a two-day period at various points along the 200 km Iraqi-Kuwaiti frontier.
