Qatar-French manoeuvres in Doha

Qatar and French marine forces are to hold joint maneuvers in the near future, the French embassy in Doha said on October 12, but declined to set a specific date for the war games.

According to the military agreements between Qatar and France, the embassy said, up to 50 French marines from the Jaubert commando squad were currently deployed in Qatar.

The squad arrived Qatar after a two-month deployment of 150 French soldiers on Qatari lands.
