Arab Ministers of Electricity study setting up Arab joint market

The Arab Ministers of Electricity and Energy held their annual meeting yesterday and today at the Arab League headquarters.

The Egyptian minister of electricity and energy stated that the ministers studied setting up an Arab joint market for manufacturing the supplies for an electric generation stations and distribution network. They also studied standardizing the systems of gauging, transferring, and distributing energy through the unified network. The ministers also discussed financing electric projects in the Arab countries through the Arab Financing Funds.
