Arab League denounces Algeria slaughters

The Arab League yesterday strongly condemned civilian massacres in Algeria, declaring its support to the efforts of the Algerian people and government aimed at uprooting terrorism, Al Wafd said today September 25.

The AL in its statement described terrorism as an international phenomena threatening security and stability around the world. The AL is "calling for coordinated international efforts to fight terrorism," an AL senior official said yesterday.
