Syrian vice president confers with British parliament member on peace process

Syrian Vice President Abdul Halim Khadam on September 22 received the British parliamentary delegation led by the head of the Middle East Council and head of foreign relations committee at the British Labor party, Ernest Ross.

Talks dealt with the situation in the region, the development of the peace process, and the role of the Israeli government in blocking this process. The two sides also talked about promoting bilateral ties.
