House Speaker Berri at Teheran

Lebanese House Speaker Nabih Berri arrived yesterday at noon in Teheran where he plans to stay for three days to have discussions with Iranian leaders. "It is not the first time I have come here, and it is surely not the last," Berri said. He added that it has been long time since he visited Iran because of the problems that are occurring in Lebanon, and he congratulated Iran for the democratization process. His Iranian hosts condemned Israeli aggressions on Lebanon and said that the destinies of Lebanon and Iran are linked.

Berri said that the discussions they had were about the relationship between Arab countries and Moslems, and that they were going to resume them today.
