Saudis consider establishing a private domestic airline

Abdel Rahman Al Goreisy, Head of the Saudi Council of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce stated that he supports the establishment of private airlines operating domestic flights within the kingdom

The existence of strong competition among Saudi Airlines will result in cheaper and better service, he added.

Earlier this month, the Saudi press reported a statement of Ismail Abu Daoud, head of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce that Saudi businessmen informed Saudi Airline officials of their desire to establish a domestic airline.
