Philippine's president looks for direct investments in visit

At the invitation of the Kuwaiti Amir, Philippine President Fidel Ramos will be in Kuwait for a two-day visit.

During his visit he will meet with the Filipino community, and he expected to focus on strengthening bilateral economic relations between Kuwait and the Philippines.

He is also expected to tap the Kuwaiti market for direct investments in the Philippines and discuss issues relating to the 58,000-member Filipino community in Kuwait.
