The Jerusalem Conference in Jordan warns against the Israeli danger on the Palestinian territories

Originally published

For two days in Amman, Jordan "The People's Conference in Defense of Jerusalem" was held concurrently with the 28th anniversary of burning the Holy Mosque and with the 100th anniversary of "The First Zionist Conference." 12 Jordanian opposition parties in cooperation with the Muslim Brotherhood Organization and trade unions called for holding this conference.

The conference refused to invite Arab countries which signed treaties with Israel. The final communique called for holding the conference on a yearly basis. A general secretariat was formed for this purpose whose responsibility is to prepare for it annually. The final communique explained that the annual conference is necessary for spreading awareness of the dangers surrounding Jerusalem and the Palestinian case and to resume the Islamic and Arab non government work with its human dimension.

The conference warned that the Israeli danger does not only surround Palestine but it also threatens the whole Arab world.
