2 Israelis killed in Jerusalem

Two Israeli men were killed by unknown assailants in a drive-by shooting which took place yesterday west of Jerusalem, a police spokesman said.

Israeli radio said that the assailants apparently were Palestinian pro-militant groups, but a police statement said it was not clear yet whether the assailants were militants or criminals, Al Ahram daily said today.

This latest shooting comes just over, a month after suicide bombers blew up themselves up in a Jerusalem market and killed 13 Israelis.
