Gaddafi says sanctions will end soon
Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi said most of the world wished to end sanctions which were imposed on Libya in 1992 because of the country's suspected involvement in the 1988 bombing of a jet over Lockerbie, Scotland.
Gaddafi said to Tunis TV that "The US and Britain will be alone in the end. The breaking of these sanctions will happen," referring to the strong pressures to isolate Lybia by these two countries, Al Ahrar daily said today.
