Joumblat denounces trouble-makers for Druze
Lebanese minister Walid Joumblat accused secret agent services of trying to provoke troubles among Druze and to divide them, and said their attempts will fail, and he insisted on the "unity of this Moslem branch."
He also denounced some attempts to chase the Syrian Army away from Lebanon by those who doubt the Taef Agreement, which affirms Lebanon as a sovereign Arab nation. Joumblat declared that a retreat of Syrians from Lebanon would lead to a "disastrous situation of war. We are ready for it, but of course, we prefer peace," he added in a sarcastic tone.
