Farmers' union asks for budget increase

The chairman of the Kuwaiti farmers' union has appealed to national authorities to boost the subsidy presently allocated to the agricultural sector so that it would comprise up to 50% of the budget of the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources.
