Egyptian gold and silver circulation active

The amount of gold circulated in the Egyptian market hit 85 tons in gold works and 5 tons in gold ingots, for a total value of approximately LE 5 billion.

The amount of silver circulated has hit 135 tons, 85 in silver works and 50 in silver ingots, according to a report discussed by Minister of Trade and Supply Ahmed Al-Goweilly with head of the Home Trade Sector Maj. General Ali-Hawam, head of the Duty Stamps and Weights Department, Al-Ahram daily said.
