War expectations escalate in south Sudan
One of the senior commanders of the rebel Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA) expects the rebels to step up the war before the next peace talks in Kenya.
Major Arok Arok made the remarks today in an interview with the Akhbar-El Ayoum daily.
Postponing the Nairobi peace talks is probably the demand of SPLA leader John Garang, who wants to make some military gains before the talks, Arok told reporters.
