Syrian minister of economy confers with Iraqi industrialists

An Iraqi industrial delegation led by chairman of the industries Union, Adnan al Qudsi, visiting Syria met with Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Mohammed al Mahdi on August 17. Talks dealt with prospects of exchanging commodities and products between the two countries within the framework of the oil-for-food formula.

The Iraqi delegation also met the chairman and members of the Damascus Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

The two sides discussed the requirements of the Iraqi market and reviewed the products that might be globally competitive.
