Mobile-telephone broadcasting for Arab Cup championship

Egyptian "Youth and Sports" radio decided to transmit the eighth round of the Arab Cup championship-starting today-through mobile telephones.

Radio head Hamdy El-Kunaiysi said yesterday that for a quick, effective and immediate broadcasti of the championship, mobile telephones were distributed to announcers to comment on events and daily press conferences. This experiment will likely be applied to the World Cup Championship as well.
