Dubai expels AIDS virus-positive foreigners

Dubai expels foreigners who carry HIV—the virus which causes AIDS—monthly, Emirates security authorities announced yesterday.

Emirates security officials stated that around 40 persons are expelled monthly when medical check-ups prove they carry the AIDS virus; their names are black-listed so that they cannot enter the country again.

In June, 36 foreigners were expelled because of the AIDS disease and 179 because of perverted practices.
