The first internataional conference for the defense of Berber cultural rights

Berber associations representing minorities in some Mediterranean countries and the Sahara are preparing to organize the first conference of the movement to defend Berber cultural rights. The conference will be held under the authority of the International Berber Congress in Tenerife in the Canary Islands between August 27-30. Invitations have been sent to Berber associations in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Mali, France, and Spain. An introductory meeting was been held for this conference in Grenada.
