US Aid will not pressure Egypt says Mubarak

Egypt’s president Hosni Mubarak has said that the US congress' threats to stop US aid to Egypt will never be a means to put pressure on Egypt to make it change its stances towards the Arab nation.

In statements to Egypt’s TV, President Mubarak commented on the US administration’s current stance towards the Israelis' acts and settlement policy, saying that the main challenge the US has to face is to play an honest and just role that serves the peace process and brings it back to its normal track.
