A burning failure
A secondary school student in Kafr El Shikh set fire to his school's offices during final examinations. The office suffered extensive damage because of the fire, which broke out after the student threw a bottle of flammable material into it.
The student tried to flee, but a guard at the school's gate caught him and turned him in to the station.
Adel Mohamed, 17, told police that it was the second year in a row he failed his final exam despite the good answers he had written. Police refered Mohamed to the Kafr El Sheikh prosecutor's office for further interrogation.
