Fulbright symposium on Egypt

The US Fulbright Institution will convene a symposium on "Egypt and a Vision of the Middle East" in Cairo tomorrow.

The Investment Authority Executive Chairman, Dr. Ibrahim Fawzi, will focus in his address on Egypt’s vital role in the Middle East and emphasize that promoting and enhancing the Egyptian-US relations is in the best interest of both countries. Other topics, like privatization and economic changes in Egypt, are also included.

Dr. Fawzi said the United States has the largest investment in Egypt. It participated in 312 projects, 107 of them industrial projects, others in free trade zones and domestic investment systems, with a total capital of L.E 5.5 billion.
