Israel buys more Jordanian lands

Press reports disclosed frequent Israeli violations with the aim of buying Jordanian lands, making use of a recommendation made by the higher council for investment in Jordan to the Jordanian cabinet for raising the percentage of foreigners property to hundred percent.

A Jordanian economist said the recommendation will contribute to increasing the Israeli control of the Jordanian national economy.

The Jordanian weekly news paper Al Hadath said this recommendation has reopened the dispute over Israeli goals in Jordan.

The paper quoted a former Jordanian minister as saying that Israel is not treating the Jordanians in the same way because it prevents Jordanians from owning lands in Israel.
