British visit to Yemen
A British trade mission organized by the Middle East Association in cooperation with the British Consultants Bureau and sponsored by the British Department of Trade and Industry will be visiting Yemen from 28 September to 6 October.
The aim of the visit is to allow British businessmen to look more closely at prospects for business in Yemen, in light of the country's stable political situation, economic liberalization and recovery. British firms are already involved in the development of the port of Aden and the adjacent free trade zone. Potential investment opportunities exist in the rehabilitation of Aden refinery, and oil and gas fields.
In November the "Made in Britain" exhibition showcasing British products and services will be held in Sana'a, organized by Cox exhibition consultants in conjunction with the Birimingham Chamber of Commerce and the Department of Trade and Industry.
