Baby for sale

Cairo police yesterday arrested a woman offering a 40-day old baby for sale to female passersby in return for LE 100, a security source said.

He said that a housewife reported that she was stopped by a woman in Al Azbakia distract (downtown Cairo) trying to sell her newly born baby, and when she refused the woman offered it for free.

"We detained the mother and we are still questioning her " said the source without elaboration and without declaration about their names.
