Police arrest heroin dealer in Kuwait
Drug-sniffing dogs enabled police to detect a quantity of heroin wrapped in nylon folds and kept in envelopes by a man, to mislead policemen into believing that they were just letters received by mail.
Policemen who had searched his house the previous day found a small quantity of hashish.
The man denied that it belonged to him. An intensive police search failed to reveal more narcotics. Policemen inducted sniffer dogs the next day and continued the search.
The dogs repeatedly sniffed around some drawers, and policemen found a number of envelopes in the drawers. The man claimed to have received them over a period of time through the mail.
Policemen found heroin in the envelopes when they were opened and referred the man to competent authorities for further action.
