Tunisia, South Africa sign air transport agreement
Tunisia and South Africa have signed an accord establishing the legal framework for air links between the two countries, officials said yesterday.
The accord allows scheduled fights and transit advantages for their airlines to increase trade and tourist exchanges between the south and the north of the African continent, they added.
The accord was signed by Tunisia's Prime Minister Hamed Karaoui and South African Deputy President Thabo Mbaeki, who arrived on Wednesday in Tunis for a three-day visit.
